Song story & origins

The Rose Street song got another turn here. Mark had brought back that rough old recording about the garden, and now he and Scott were seeing what new tools might make of it. Six versions wound through the episode, each taking the song somewhere a little different. They talked about what to keep, what to change, and how much of the person who began a song stays with it as it grows. For a song about weeds finding their own way, it was a fitting sort of second life.
