Flying

Flying

With words selected from Li Young Lee's

Build by Flying

Make up words

to fit a familiar tune— keep

mother guessing

when you'll come home.

How long till that boy

finishes his lessons?

We float until we see ourselves

abandoned in the slow hangover

of dawn

stopping to vomit

under the cover

of branches, head still not

grounded.
