Everyone Brings the Firewood
Someone knows how to build
a fire. Another brings dry kindling.
Another remembers the words
to an old song we forgot.
This is not competition.
This is a circle.
Everyone you meet knows something
you don’t. The trick is to make room—
to clear the table, light the lantern,
and listen as if stories were warmth.
As if trust were built
like anything else— together.
