Feast on Your Life

There’s a photograph

you almost threw away—

your younger self,

wide-eyed,

wearing something

you’d never wear now.

You wince

at the memory,

but hold it.

That version of you

brought you here.

So take down the notes,

the scribbled love letters,

the foolish songs,

and don’t flinch.
