Serotonin

Step outside.

Even if it’s gray.

Even if you don’t want to.

Breathe until your shoulders drop.

You don’t have to conquer anything—

just take ten minutes to remember

your body can still carry you.

Sunlight slants through bare branches,

and for a moment, you are someone

you trust again.
