Tea
The old man
is bending toward
the girl
trying to hear
what she has to say
his hair is fine
and falls into his eyes
as he leans
his hands are shaking
and he is stiff as he
reaches
to steady himself
on her small shoulder
she smiles
though the weight
of the older is
uncomfortable
upon the younger
they sit at this table together
drinking cool-aid
from fine china
