As It Is
Change the world,
he said,
by falling in love
with it
as it is.
So I try:
I love the hard days,
the chipped mugs,
the friend
who talks too much.
I love
how I still ache
for things
not yet fixed,
and how
today,
I can breathe
and begin again.
